MSRP (Message Session Relay Protocol) is a protocol for transmitting a series of related instant messages in the context of a communications session. An application instantiates the session with the Session Description Protocol (SDP) over Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)
This MSRP Agent Queuing Sample was developed to implement a queuing system where MSRP clients would request a chat session and Kamailio would route the request to an agent and initiate the chat session using SIP. If no agents are available the system will not setup the session.
So, one could use this code base and create a custom MSRP client would know how to try the connection again until an agent becomes free or you need a MSRP chatbot that will answer the call and wait for an agent to become available.
The API Server is written in Python 3.5 so that needs to be installed on your system.
The included setup script will try to download any required dependencies
Theres not much info and samples on MSRP. This sample combined with a MSRP client should provide you with a good framework for building a MSRP application.
We provide 2 days of support via email that will help you get the components installed.
